Customer Service Advisor

Horsham £11 p/h Contract

Our client is seeking a Service Advisor to support the Customer Service team during a particular busy period to provide an excellent and efficient front line response. You will be dealing with Customer’s calls and emails to ensure their queries are escalated to the right team in a timely and proficient manner.

The Role

  • Ensure all customer contacts are recorded on CRM and all call-backs are answered promptly
  • Focus on customer care, be empathic to customers’ needs and ensure they have a positive, professional experience
  • Ensure residents are advised accurately about their repair and tenancy obligations, recharges and adequate information is recorded in Orchard
  • Take ownership for contacts received liaising effectively with other colleagues/teams and customers to ensure resident issues are resolved
  • Respond positively to all enquiries to the team, ensuring the appropriate action is identified and taken within set timescales
  • Provide appropriate advice and support to customers to resolve issues and concerns at first point of contact
  • Process and complete garage applications, terminations and arrears actions
  • Record and action all digital enquiries including repair requests received
  • Schedule appointments with customers, match the job to an operative’s skill and availability, check and amend if required
  • Process repair orders in line
  • Process invoices and purchase orders for housing management services
  • Continuously development knowledge and understanding in order to resolve customer contacts at first point of contact
  • Assist with office management duties
  • Use the Customer Relationship Management system effectively to capture all contacts and history, leading to the reduction of unnecessary call backs and customer complaints and dissatisfaction
  • Contribute to departmental and value for money objectives


Experience

  • Experience in a Customer Service role ideally as first line response
  • Must be computer literate with strong CRM management and MS office skills
  • Experience in housing is desirable
  • Able to provide a quality service to customers
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Can do attitude is essential

37 hours, Monday - Friday
